U.S. News & World Report released its annual report for 2025 Best Cars for Teens<\/a> awards that includes new and used vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards recognize cars that come highly recommended by critics and score well in factors including. performance, predicted reliability, crash ratings and safety feature availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the findings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyundai takes home the most awards this year across both the new car and used car categories, with six wins overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Civic Hybrid is a first-time Best Car for Teens winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hyundai Tucson is a Best SUV for Teens for the fourth year in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toyota Camry wins a Best Car for Teens award for the third year running and seventh time overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 Best Used Cars for Teens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The winners of the used cars range from small cars to SUVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid in the Small SUVs category<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2022 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid in the Small Cars category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid in the midsize SUVs category<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2021 Subaru Legacy in the midsize cars category<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    2025 Best New Cars for Teens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Winners for the Best New Car for Teens, must have the best combination of predicted reliability ratings, crash test scores, available advanced driver-assistance features and top critics\u2019 recommendations in its price category, say US News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
